Check-in begins at 4:00 PM local time. Early check-in may be available upon request, depending on availability. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be requested and is subject to availability.
Yes — all check-ins require an adult aged 21 or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Yes, many of rooms offer views of the ocean, beach, pool, and other Florida vistas!
Yes! Complimentary high-speed WiFi is included with the resort fee and available in all guest rooms and public spaces.
Yes. There is a nightly parking fee for the first vehicle. Bookings made directly via our site (with Stash Hotel Rewards membership) receive a discounted rate of $10 per night for one vehicle. Additional vehicles incur extra charges.
No. Plunge is a non-smoking resort, but designated smoking areas are "conveniently" located just seven miles north of us along the A1A. We have come a long way since the 70s. Note that our rooms are individually electronically monitored for smoking and a cleaning fee of $250 will be automatically charged to your folio when the smoke monitor in your room is triggered.
Yes! We welcome up to 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 40 lbs per pet. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $99 per stay. Pets are not allowed on pool decks or left unattended in rooms. Service animals (compliant with ADA) are exempt from this fee.
Yes — we are committed to inclusion. The resort features accessible pathways, pool lifts, wheelchair-friendly access, and designated accessible rooms and parking.
Yes — our main pool is heated year-round, so you can take a dip no matter the season.
We charge a nightly resort fee of $44 plus tax per room. In exchange, you get high-speed WiFi for unlimited devices, local telephone calls, use of 2 beach chairs, beach and pool towels, unlimited bottles of water on request, weekly beach yoga, beach games, complimentary access to monthly activities and pop-up events, 24-hour access to the fitness center, 10% discount off select Plunge merchandise, 20% discount off clamshell cabana rental on the beach and hotel loaner bicycles to explore Lauderdale-by-the-Sea at your leisure!
Yes, some of the Bungalow rooms have kitchenettes to cook! Other incredible food options can be found on-site or within walking, skating or cycling distance from your doorstep.

Yes. We accept packages for registered guests. Packages larger than an 8.5” × 11” envelope incur a $5 per box charge. (Pallets are not permitted.) Please ensure your reservation name matches the recipient name. Unclaimed packages will be returned or discarded after 14 days.
Absolutely. You don’t need to stay overnight to enjoy our beach. We offer day passes which include beach towels, chairs, umbrellas or cabanas, WiFi, beach games, and daily activities.
Day passes may be canceled until 8:59 PM the night before. On the day of your booking, cancellations due to weather are accepted until 10:00 AM.
While there is something for everyone at Plunge, our Bungalow rooms, suites, yard, pool and pool deck will be reserved for guests who are 21 years older starting on April 1, 2023. To ensure the best experience for every guest, no exceptions will be made to this rule. Don't forget your bathing suit & clothes when you leave your room! We are not "that kind" of Adult-Exclusive resort! Not that there's anything wrong with that!
Our resort tower rooms are stylish, comfortable, and centrally located. Our adult-exclusive bungalows are available to guests aged 21+ and offer enhanced amenities such as plush bathrobes, Aveda toiletries, and private touches.
Guests in our Adult-Exclusive Bungalows enjoy the same amenities as every other guest plus a Keurig coffee maker in every room & suite, access to our pool & beach area, exclusive poolside food & beverage service, plus luxurious bathrobes and Aveda toiletries.
